Everyone runs into themselves sometimes, and sometimes certain patterns or problems seem to keep coming back the same way. Perhaps you notice this in your work, in relationships, or just in everyday life. Psychotherapy can help you discover where these patterns come from. Together we then look for ways to deal with them differently, in a way that suits you better.
Common topics I can assist with are:
Through conversation, we explore together the problems and symptoms you are currently experiencing. The focus is on becoming aware of your own thoughts and feelings, as well as understanding the feelings and thoughts of others around you. We explore how aspects of your past may be influencing how you feel and react today. In this way, you yourself gain a better understanding of where changes are possible.
By understanding yourself and others better, you can ultimately live a fuller life, enjoying work, leisure and relationships more.
Course of therapy
During the intake phase, we take time together to go through your life story and request for help. In the first three exploratory sessions, we then determine together the frequency and themes of our conversations, tailored to your needs and abilities. Usually we meet weekly or biweekly, but this can be adjusted according to the progress of the therapy. The duration of the program depends on your needs: it can be short or long term.
Do you doubt whether your request for help is suitable for this therapy? Would you like more information or to schedule an introductory consultation? Feel free to contact me – I am ready to help you further.
