Hello, I’m Marina, a clinical neuropsychologist and psychologist.
My work grew from a curiosity about the human mind and its many forms of expression and resilience, which led me to study psychology alongside different forms of art. This has shaped my interest in integrating evidence-based psychological approaches with body awareness and embodiment.
I offer adult ADHD assessments and counselling, as well as one-to-one psychotherapy sessions. My psychotherapy work provides a space to slow down, notice what is moving within you, and develop a deeper understanding of your needs, boundaries and patterns. I aim to create a safe and peaceful environment where you can simply be, receive attentive listening and care, and discover different aspects of yourself.
I welcome anyone who would like to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their inner world.
I can support people experiencing:
Adult ADHD assessment
The assessment combines a structured diagnostic interview (DIVA-5), validated questionnaires, and information from one or two people who know you well. It takes place over three sessions of 60 minutes.
When the assessment supports a diagnosis of ADHD, it can be confirmed by a psychiatrist at BMHC, who can also discuss medication. When another explanation is more likely, I will say so and help you find the right follow-up.
ADHD counselling
Individual sessions of 60 minutes for adults with ADHD, with or without a formal diagnosis, on time management and organisation, emotional regulation, strategies for work or study, and how attention and restlessness are felt in the body.
Psychotherapy
My background in clinical neuropsychology and evidence-based psychotherapy allows me to approach psychological difficulties through an understanding of attention, emotional regulation, executive functioning, stress responses and the ways in which our brains adapt to everyday life.
My approach is both structured and exploratory, grounded in clinical knowledge while remaining attentive to the complexity, individuality and embodied nature of human experience.
I am particularly interested in working with aspects that may be difficult to access or to put into words, focusing on sensation through bodily awareness, drawing, movement and other forms of expression.
The therapeutic process is co-creative. We establish goals together, reflect on how the work is progressing, and adapt the approach according to your needs, resources and pace.
Adult ADHD assessment: €900 for the complete assessment: three sessions of 60 minutes, collateral information from one or two relatives and a written report.
ADHD counselling: €100 per session of 60 minutes.
The ADHD assessment and counselling are not reimbursed by the compulsory health insurance; some mutualities and complementary insurers cover part of it, so check with your insurer beforehand.
Marina sees patients on Monday from 8:00 to 13:00 at Plasky (Schaerbeek) and on Wednesday from 8:00 to 15:00 at Flagey (Ixelles). If you are looking for an ADHD assessment or ADHD counselling, please mention this in your request so the first appointment can be planned accordingly.
